I’ve been super-busy lately. I’m in the middle of a pretty big change– my alter ego the Accountant is making a move on to something different. I’ve driven across the CBBT several times, one of which was for a photoshoot with a model named Jordan. Her pics turned out fabulous, and I couldn’t be more pleased about them. (You can view them in the On Location folder). The work is almost complete with my “starter studio”- in fact, I plan on using it this weekend for another shoot with the Shore’s best Stylist, Shannon of Vanity Hair Boutique (doing the makeup, hair and wardrobe) with some local talent. I’ve booked wedding gigs, planned other model shoots, portrait sessions, and a very exciting community-charity event. And this fan-tab-ulous weather is making me drive all over the Shore taking random pics, which I am not complaining about :-) Whew! Just typing all that makes me sleepy!

It may not be here quite yet, but Spring is surely right around the corner. It has to be, because my days are getting busy and my mind is gearing up for the great things to come! I had an impromptu photo shoot with a beautiful young woman a few weeks ago, my sister Shannon, and her pics turned out amazing. You can browse them here, or just check out the album on Facebook.

I’ve gotten some more tools for my editing arsenal, so while you’re browsing on Facebook, check out the images in the other albums as well. And don’t forget to become a Fan!

On another note, I’m super excited about a Wedding Photo workshop I’m attending with my friend and colleague Meredith tomorrow night in VA Beach. It should be a blast, and I hope to come back with many more tricks in my bag for all my clients!

The studio is coming along nicely too… a little slower than my tastes, but you know, Rome wasn’t built in a day :-)

On another note, I’ve finally found a few minutes to catch my breathe after the whirl-wind opening of Vanity Hair Boutique  and the above-mentioned photo shoots. After a mountain of laundry and a few days of loafing around, my creative mind is springing to action again. I have ideas, big, fat creative ideas, and I don’t know how much longer I can contain them ;-)  One thing is for sure though, I just have to do more shoots soon, before the muse gets snowed in. So bring on the warmer weather, and raise your hand if you want to become my next model. ciao’

After another shoot at Vanity Hair Boutique, and staying up half of the night to edit and post pics, I’m beat. I’ve got the Vanity Hair Boutique Grand Opening though in a few hours, so it’s time to grab a latte and get cracking. I’ll be putting up some slideshows and photo shoot pics over the weekend, probably while we’re snowed in.
